The Open Hand Foundation was founded to honor the memory of Karren Khalil, with a mission to provide much needed funding and resources toward research to find a cure for Frontotemporal Dementia (FTD).
our story
The Open Hand Foundation was founded by Charles Khalil in memory of his wife Kaaren, whom he lost to Frontotemporal Dementia. Their five children are all active in the organization.
