    Ordered for my daughter, wasn't quite ready to get her a brand new one, want to try out a used one to see how she takes care of it, this was in surprisingly great shape and works perfectly-she won't need a new one for while

    Great product! Great Value! Perfect for Serato!

    If you've been meaning to get a Macbook and you have no intentions on using it for anything CPU or RAM intensive then this is the one to get. I am a DJ/Producer/Label Owner and I have found this product to be exactly what I was looking for. My intentions behind the purchase was originally to use it solely for Serato, a software designed for DJ's which allows us to no longer have to burn CD's or carry heavy heavy crates of records. This machine meets the minimum requirements for that and then some. It does not exceed the minimum by vast amounts but it is certainly enough to prevent hiccups. If you are looking for a production laptop, I would recommend a Macbook Pro because the CPU, RAM, and hard drive space on this particular model would not suffice. This model came with OS Tiger installed ...

    A good machine for standard school work. Nothing Fancy.

    I bought this USED, NON-FUNCTIONING laptop to repair to trade to a student locally. I am attempting to address the Digital Divide on a case-by basis, and I think this student is a good risk. This is a good solid workhorse Mac, with a version of Mavericks or Yosemite, it can help them create top-notch classwork to further their education. The #1 dislike I have about this model is that it REQUIRES off-spec RAM PC2-6400, vs. 5300 like the rest of the Core 2 Duo MacBooks.

    Black MacBook

    I bought the MacBook to help me learn about Apple computers. I bought a used iBook previously to use at a conference for backup. Each year more and more people are using Apples for their presentations. I bought several books so I could learn to speak Apple after being a PCer for years. The MacBook seemed quite a bit more advanced than an iBook and it had more features I was interested in than did the MacBook Pro. This MacBook came with Office so I could cover either type of presentation. It is easier to carry than my desktop replacement PCs, well-built, and the modest hard drive doesn't pull down the battery. Being the black version does make some people look twice to see if it really is an Apple. Things I don't like are only get 4 hours on the battery and I am limited to 4GBs ...

    Fantastic product at a fantastic price!

    What an absolutely fantastic laptop! I made the shift from a new Windows PC to this Macbook and the transition was absolutely phenomenal. Even at 5 years old the Macbook ran faster, smoother, and with a plethora of more features than my previous computer. The size is fantastic and the hardware is just great overall, with an absolutely fantastic screen in particular. Battery life only ranges from 2-3 hours, but again that is still a decently generous amount for a 5 year old laptop. Fantastic overall though! Luckily I managed to snag mine at a mere $250 bucks too!
