Los Angeles Review Lexus LS 460
Lexus drivers know how to look past the hype and see a car for its true value, while Los Angeles is a city of discerning tastes. It makes sense, then, that drivers in the City of Angels love the LS, the quintessential luxury sedan that’s all substance, no nonsense.
Plus, each year gets better than the last, so check out the 2017 Lexus LS 460 at Longo Lexus. But come prepared and read our full review first:

Features

The LS 460 comes standard with deluxe features, including a Thin Film Transistor color multi-information display, Lexus Navigation with SD memory card, Lexus Enform infotainment and app suite, 10-speaker premium sound system, Sirius XM Satellite Radio, Bluetooth connectivity, SmartAccess key fob, voice command, and Siri Eyes Free. Optional features include a 19-speaker Mark Levinson audio system with surround sound, rear seat entertainment system with Blu-ray, DVD, and wireless headphones, and Sport S+ and comfort driving modes. The Lexus LS also comes with Enform Service Connect for remote access of your vehicle’s status and needs.

Styling and Interior

The LS will look current for years to come, with an understated spindle grille, stand-out hood, and tapered rear that add up to a classic silhouette. In fact, you may never want to trade it in (but if you do, know that the LS 460 has great resale value). It glides on 18-inch wheels with hollow spokes for noise reduction, and when you look up, you’ll always have a great view of the California sky through the tilt-and-slide moonroof. The LS also features and illuminated entry system, power sunshade, power doors and trunk, and 16-way power adjustable driver’s seat.
Drivers who choose the F Sport model add a front bumper with enhanced detailing, F Sport badging, and signature lower and upper grille inserts. The LS 460 Nightfall Edition features the Nightfall Mica exterior finish and L Select Dark Brown semi-aniline leather-trimmed seats, in addition to premium interior features.

Safety

Each model of the LS is designed to protect its passengers, with a rigid body structure with crumple zones, Lexus Enform Safety Connect, high-performance Brembo brakes, backup camera with gridlines, intuitive parking assist, and Smart Stop technology, among other features. You can also add the Advanced Pre-Collision System package, which includes automatic brake assist and pedestrian detection. Lane-keep assist, dynamic radar cruise control, blind-spot monitor, LED headlights, and intelligent high-beam headlights are all optional.

Engine

You can choose between the base rear-wheel drive LS 460 or an all-wheel drive model. Both are powered by a 4.6-liter V8 engine, which makes 360 horsepower with four-wheel drive and adds 26 horses when you choose rear-wheel drive. Both options are mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission.
